    Parent/teacher/student conferences

    Parent, Student and Teacher conferences are  Friday October 2.  There will be no classes for students however, students should plan on attending all conferences with their parents.

    Parents and students may schedule appointments for a video, or audio conference with their teachers until Monday September 28th.  

    Please go to the DHS website, counseling home page, click on the teachers you would like to meet with and sign up for a time you and your student will be available that day to talk to the teacher.  

    • Be sure to check the sign up box for the time you would like.
    • Click the "Submit and Sign Up" button at the bottom of the page.
    • Enter the required information.  
    • Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.  
    • You should receive a confirmation email from the DHS Counseling office on the Sign Up Genius application.

    distance learning Attendance

    UPDATED 8-28-20. 

    Starting Monday, August 31, students are expected to log in to their Infinite Campus Student Portal to check in each period during the scheduled time for each distance learning day to be considered present.  For more information, please visit the Checking in for Attendance on Virtual Learning Days video on the DCSD website.  This information will also be reviewed with students in class on Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1.

    DMV Attendance Requirements

    DMV Attendance forms: Please allow 24 hours for the form to be generated. In order to receive a DMV Attendance form, you must have attended at least 90% of the Current semester class days. DMV will not accept faxed copies so please plan on picking up the form from the main office between 7:00-3:30.

    Lost and Found

    The school does not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or confiscated items, which may include money, electronic equipment, PE clothes, or school-issued supplies. There is a lost and found box located at the end of the counseling hallway that should be checked for lost items.

    Notice

    -We are not able to release students for pick up without a written request or a parent/guardian coming in to sign the student out.  You can email a request to dhsattendance@dcsd.k12.nv.us

    -There will be a $25 fee assessed on any returned check.
